Topics:
  • The Apostle's Creed -- Why should the creed still be a part of your church's weekly services? What's it for? What's it really saying and why? What's its history?
  • The Didache -- The Didache (Gr meaning "Instruction") is the oldest extant document on early church instruction. Many scholars believe it should have been included for educational purposes as a supplement to the Bible--not as a canonical book, but as a guide for congregations. You might be surprised to learn what the earliest church had to say about such things as baptism, abortion, etc.
  • The Prologama of John -- The first few verses of the Gospel of John are unique in the Bible. This is a discussion of what makes them unique and why they're there.
  • But Who Is My Neighbor? What You Don't Know About The Good Samritan -- We'll look at the parable of The Good Samaritan in a way you've probably never looked at it before. When we're finished, you'll understand why Jesus used this particular study of society and stereotypes and how it applies to your life today.
  • The Secrets To A Long, Happy Marriage--And Other Relationships Too -- Divorce is rampant in our society. Relationships with others are hard to understand and even more difficult to maintain, but what we'll discuss here are the secrets to those problems...the Biblical secrets that our society seems to want to forget and/or ignore. These secrets can change your life...for the better...forever.
Special equipment: A computer-fed projector is used in most of these presentations.
