About the CASEWWW Group

The CASEWWW group is dedicated to the goal of helping its members--members helping members via an online "social networking group." To be a member, you must have a working website where you control and update the content. People selling products and/or services via their website and active bloggers are the primary target for membership in the CASEWWW group.

How does all this work? It's fairly simple. It's a 6-item checklist all of which should cost you a total of $25/year--about like 1 good eat-out meal. Here's what members do:

  1. A member agrees to evaluate other members' products and services as well as to supply free evaluation "copies" of their product to other group members.

  2. Once the product is evaluated, a member agrees to blog, comment, or review the other member's product, service, or blog on his/her own site. The content posted shall talk about the things the he/she liked and how well the product or service works, how good it is, etc. A link to the other member's website should be included in your content so an interested customer can find the other member easily. (Remember, they'll be doing the same thing for you.) The review/comment will show up on 4 of our own websites--see below.

  3. A member agrees to put a link to other members' websites on their own site in such a way that search engines can easily index the links. This is called a "link exchange" and it can work wonders for your search-enginge rankings. All the major engines look at how many sites link to yours and the ratings of those sites that link to yours. This has a direct impact on your own search engine positioning. Four of our own websites will carry the links to your site--see below.

  4. A member agrees to place ads for other members' products/services on his/her own website in such a way that search engines can easily index the links and site visitors can easily find/view the ads. (Direct completitors' ads need not be included.) This can be on the same page as the link-exchange page if you so choose. The main thing is that the ads are spread across the web and link back to the other member's website. The ads will show up on 4 of our own websites--see below.

  5. A member agrees to post press releases of other members (who are not direct competitors) on their website. The press releases will show up on 4 of our own websites--see below.

  6. A member agrees to pay annual membership dues of $25.   Why dues?

All members of CASEWWW will be invited to attend at least one meeting/year to do face-to-face networking with other members, hear sponsors' offers, talk with the sponsors, attend member-led seminars about techniques that work, etc.

Members will also be invited to join our Speaker's Roster. "Nominate yourself" to speak on technical and/or non-technical subjects. If you get a good speaking gig, you can always put in what we call a "shameless" plug for your product and/or services...why not? And it builds credibility in some cases. So...why not?

All members can place a "Member 20nn-20nn CASEWWW" logo on his/her "About Us" page.  Page names may vary: it's the page where you tell potential customers that you're part of several communities. This will look like this:

<a href="http://www.casewww.org" target=_blank><img src="http://www.casewww.org/images/Member2008-9B.gif" border="0"></a>

All of these things are aimed at helping customers find favorable information about your product/service and website on the world-wide web...that should help sales and help your website in the search engines.    Because of this latter fact, active bloggers are encouraged to join the group and work with it for mutual benefit.
